| 华喦（1682～1756） 中国清代画家。字秋岳，号新罗山人。福建上杭人。出身贫寒，曾当过造纸作坊学徒，自幼习画，勤奋好学，因为华氏祠堂画壁画遭乡绅反对而离家出走，后刻苦读书，研习书画。曾赴北京，经召试被授县丞之职，后去职南下，往来于杭州、扬州之间。擅花鸟、人物、山水，其花鸟初师恽寿平，后转法朱耷、石涛。笔墨干湿并用，率意潇洒，色彩淡雅而艳丽，能表现出花鸟生动活泼的种种神态。人物师承王树偲、陈洪绶、李公麟，取材广泛，构思巧妙，善将人物置于生活情节中，形象略夸张，个性鲜明。山水师承宋元明清诸家，笔墨清新明快，富有变化。有《桃潭浴鸭图》、《山雀爱梅图》、《村学图》、《白云松舍图》等传世。著《离垢集》、《解弢馆诗集》。
