This paper,based on the framework of the three metafunctions and projection in systemic-functional grammar as well as the related analytical principles of code-switching,aims to explore the interpersonal meanings and textual meanings of code-switching in projected message.

Many scholars have studied the interpersonal function of language from different angles.

In this thesis, I have made a relatively systematic and objective study of those particular linguistic features and their stylistic effects, and also of its interpersonal function of casual conversation, so that it will help both addressers and addressees understand better the artistic use of language of casual conversation from a new perspective.

Appraisal meanings exist in different discourses to realize interpersonal function.
