The educational function of the English language and philology has not been stated definitely in the English curriculum standards and requirements of senior middle schools and colleges in China,thus it easily leads to some semantic ambiguity on the policy in the guidance of teaching property and aims.
高中和大学阶段的各英语大纲皆没有把英语语文的教育功能作为一个明确的概念提出,由此在教学性质和目标的导向上,容易产生政策性的语义歧义。
