印度古代故事集。现存有几种梵文的本子，其中有两部是散文体写的独立著作;两部是诗体写的,收在《伟大的故事》的两种缩写本之中；《故事海》中的本子流传较广。全书叙述健日王（或译超日王）为修道人搬运一具僵尸的故事，穿插了僵死鬼讲的24个小故事。僵死鬼在每个故事讲完后，提出问题刁难国王。这些故事尽管显得荒唐,但反映了古代印度封建社会的生活情景,表现了编造故事的人的机智。
