脑型疟疾
由于疟原虫寄生于人的脑部所引起的一种寄生虫病。主要出现于恶性疟，偶尔发生于间日疟。它是疟疾最严重的一种表现。儿童和新进入流行区的非疟区人群，由于免疫力低下或无免疫力，感染恶性疟疾后，易发展为脑型。表现谵妄、昏迷、剧烈头痛、烦躁不安、抽搐等；少数病人可有精神错乱、躁狂。神经系统可出现脑膜刺激征、失语、瘫痪、反射亢进。周围血液涂片可见疟原虫。防治参见"疟疾"。
