Using the WAIS scale and picture categorization tasks made by the anthor,the presented study investigated the difference of the general intelligence,cognitive strategy and self-monitory capability of 15 adults with prefrontal cortex damage and 15 normal adults.

This dissertation uses latent variable analysis to measure the relationship between general intelligence and the sub-components of four cognitive abilities which includs working memory, short-term memory, central executive and processing speed, in order to explore the structure of general intelligence (g) more microcosmically.
