1.破门﹐奋力冲开门户。 2.明英宗亲征瓦剌﹐兵败被俘。其弟继位为景帝﹐即与瓦剌议和。英宗返回京师﹐入居南宫﹐不许朝谒。景泰八年﹐石亨﹑徐有贞等以兵迎英宗于南宫﹐毁垣坏门而入﹐英宗乃复辟。史称此次政变为"夺门之役"。见《明史．英宗后纪》。后因以"夺门"泛指复辟﹑政变。
