| 龙蜥属 Japalura 蜥蜴目鬣蜥科的一属。体侧扁，常有鬣鳞。肩前方常有斜行的褶，褶部色深，被细鳞。头长为头宽的1.5倍。舌较短，前端微有缺刻或略分叉。体长不到100毫米，尾长200毫米左右。约有22种。主要分布于喜马拉雅山、琉球群岛、印度尼西亚、中国的横断山脉。中国产11种，分布于西藏、四川、云南、贵州、台湾、湖南、湖北、河南、陕西和甘肃。分布广而数量多的是草绿龙蜥和丽纹龙蜥。龙蜥栖息于海拔300～3500米的山区或山间盆地的公路旁、坡坎上、灌丛下、河边乱石堆中、林间空地、荒坡枯草间或菜地边、老墙上。
