This article,using Michel Foucault\'s power theory as a weapon,focuses on analyzing Sybylla\'s social power relations and their respective operations,with a view to exhibiting the particular struggles and frustrations of the protagonist before a conclusion is made that the image of the heroine is a progressive one in itself but it also has its shortcomings.
