仲裁条款买卖合同中的一项条款，是交易双方解决国际经济贸易中争议的一种方式。主要包括以下几方面的内容:①仲裁地点这是买卖双方磋商仲裁条款的一个重点问题，它关系到仲裁所适用的程序法以及合同所适用的实体法的问题。因此，买卖双方都力争在自己国家仲裁，这是因为他们一般对本国的法律和仲裁程序及做法比较了解。②仲裁机构。有两种类型，一是常设机构，如国际性仲裁机构、全国性仲裁机构、地方性仲裁机构、设在特定行业内的专业性仲裁机构;另一种是临时性机构。在商订仲裁条款时，贸易双方应选定适当的仲裁机构，以免日后产生争议。③仲裁程序_i:要是规定进仁仲裁的手续、步骤和做法.以便为当事人和仲裁员提供进行仲裁的准则。一般情况下，规定在哪个国家的仲裁机构仲裁，就应该按仲裁机构制定的仲裁规则办理，但在法律上允许根据双方当事人的约定，采用仲裁地点以外的其他国家仲裁机构的仲裁规则进行仲裁。④仲裁费用。通常在仲裁条款中要明确规定出仲裁费用由谁负担。一般规定由败诉方负担，也有的规定由仲裁员酌情决定。⑤仲裁裁决的效力。这是仲裁条款必须订明的一个重要内容，为了避免引起复杂的上诉程序，在仲裁条款中一般都明确规定:仲裁裁决是终局性的，对双方当事人都有约束力，任何一方不得向法院上诉要求变更所作出的裁决。
