| 肥大 hypertrophy 人体组织或器官体积的增大和重量的增加。常常是伴随机体增加功能的需要而发生的。因适应需要而发生的肥大称为生理性肥大。如妊娠期的子宫、哺乳期的乳腺。在病理情况下，某处组织或某一器官功能障碍或完全丧失时，其余健在的同类组织或器官通过功能性代偿而发生的肥大称为代偿性肥大。管腔器官（消化道、泌尿道）发生梗阻时，梗阻上段的管腔被大量潴留的内容物充盈扩张，该段管壁的肌肉组织则因加强工作以向下排空潴留物而发生代偿性肥大。管壁或腔壁增厚。有时肥大并无代偿意义，而给机体带来危害。例如，由于内分泌调节紊乱引起的前列腺良性肥大时，肥大的前列腺使尿道内口狭窄，造成尿路梗阻和膀胱尿潴留，此时膀胱因克服排尿阻力而发生代偿性肥大。 |
