形态特征:龙胆科獐牙莱属多年生草本植物，高40-100厘米。茎直立，不分枝。叶大部分基生，具长柄;叶片线状椭圆形或狭披针形，长10-16厘米，宽2-3厘米;茎中、上部叶较小，长7-12厘米，具柄;最上部叶无柄，苞片状。6-7月开花，圆锥状复聚伞花序常有间断，多花，长21-45厘米;花5数，直径1-1.3厘米;花萼长为花冠的2/3，裂片披针形，长7-9毫米;花冠黄绿色，具多数蓝紫色细而短的条纹，裂片椭圆状披针形，长9-11毫米;基部2枚腺窝的顶端具长1.5-2毫米的柔毛状流苏;蒴果卵形。
