| 中国佛教协会 中国各民族佛教徒联合组织。1953年在北京成立，会址设在广济寺。该会的宗旨是：以协助人民政府贯彻宗教信仰自由政策、团结全国各民族佛教徒发扬佛教优良传统、积极参加社会主义现代化建设和促进祖国统一、维护世界和平事业为宗旨。成立以后在全国各地维修大批寺院，积极开展佛教教育和学术研究，出版一批佛教典籍，和国外佛教组织进行宗教文化交流与友好往来，成绩斐然。现任会长赵朴初。出版月刊《法音》和《法音·学术版》。 |
