下唇（labium或lower lip）是位于下颚后面，后头孔下方的一个片状结构，形成口前腔的后壁，主要起托挡食物的作用。结构与下颚相似，也由5部分构成。
（1）后额（postmemtum）是下唇基部不能活动的部分，相当于下颚的轴节；它又可分为基部的亚颏（submemtum）和端部的颏（memtum）。
（2）前颏（prememtum）是连接在后颏前端的部分，相当于下颚的茎节，该部分可以前后，左右运动。
（3）侧唇舌（paraglossae，单数paraglossa）是前颏端部两侧的一对较大的叶状结构，相当于下颚的外颚叶。
（4）中唇舌（glossae，单数glossa）是前颏端部中央的一对很小的叶状结构，有时二叶合为一体。相当于下颚的内颚叶，中唇舌与侧唇舌有时可合为一体，统称唇舌（lingula）。
（5）下唇须（labial palpus，复数labial palpi）是生在前颏侧后方负唇须节（palpiger）上的分节构造，一般分3节，相当于下颚的下颚须。有些学者把后颏叫后下唇（postlabium），把下唇其余部分统称前下唇（prelabium）。
