激活(activation)心理生理学的一个概念,指交感神经活动兴奋占优势时人的各种生理表现。例如,脑电波由Q节律变成低幅快波的p节律、肌电值增大、皮肤电流量增大、心率和血液增加、呼吸加快加深。引起激活状态的刺激可以是声、光、电、触、味等物理化学刺激,也可以是激动的思想。脑干网状结构在激活中起着重要作用。它不仅把外周传入的神经冲动传送到皮层,引起皮层的激活;也使丘脑和其他自主中心改变原来的兴奋闽。内分泌腺与激活也有关系,例如,肾上腺髓质分泌的肾上腺素使网状结构的活动得以维持,从而使皮层处于激活状态。’肾上腺素的分泌也支持自主神经系统和中枢神经系统的活动。下丘脑在激活活动中也起重要作用。坎农(eanon,w.B.)称激活为“或战或逃”反应,或“能量的动员”。 (杨立能撰梁宝勇审)
