Technological analysis and design of flanging die for fuel oil tank shell

Defects like local deformation in an ice box inner casing during foaming process may occur due to decrease of plate thickness;and the main factors were found to be the accurate degree of fitting between the foam mould and the box inner casing.

Introduced the characteristics of the gear box case, and determinded the reasonable forming process, designed the drawing die, the trimming die, the piercing die and the flanging die.
