| 萤石 fluorite 卤化物矿物。其主要成分为氟,又称氟石。在紫外线或阴极射线照射下,发蓝绿色荧光。有时含钇、铈等稀土元素。等轴晶系,晶体常呈立方体、八面体、菱形十二面体等。集合体呈粒状或致密块状。常呈绿、兰或紫红色,或无色透明。玻璃光泽,莫氏硬度4,具完全的八面体解理。比重3.18。主要产于热液矿脉中。常与闪锌矿、方铅矿等共生。无色透明萤石产于花岗伟晶岩或萤石脉的晶洞中。是制取氢氟酸的主要原料,还常用作搪瓷、玻璃、水泥制造配料和冶金工业熔剂,并可作为火箭燃料的催化剂等。无色透明者还可作光学透镜。中国是世界萤石产量最大的国家,主要产地有浙江、湖南、福建等。世界主要产地有南非、蒙古、美国、俄罗斯、泰国、西班牙等。 |
