化学式PbTe。为极性化合物,以Pb2+和Te2-构成立方晶格;熔点917℃,密度8.164克/厘米3(20℃)。碲化铅是典型的半导体,有显著的红外光电导特性。碲化铅在空气中加热时,容易氧化,因此要在惰性气体中或真空下拉制单晶。碲化铅可由铅和碲直接化合而得;可用作温差电发生器的活性组分。
