唐氏综合征
又称"Down病"、"伸舌样痴呆"、"先天愚型痴呆"、"三体综合征"、"染色体21-三体性综合征"等。英国医师Down于1866年首先报导了本病的特殊容貌、智力痴愚等。后来Lejeune于1956年指出本病原因为染色体的异常。目前已测出本病 为21染色体增数为3个。21-三体形成的方式，从亲代表现有三种：①染色体不分离：其染色体总数为47，出生的母亲年龄多大于35岁；②染色体易位：常见的是14／21易位，染色体21为三体型，但总数仍为46个，少了一个14号染色体，多了一个由染色体14或21易位所形成的易位染色体，患儿母亲年龄多在30岁以下，下胎子女发生本病的可能性较大，但染色体易位总的来说出现率较低；③嵌合体：一为细胞核型正常，另一为2l-三体，因早期细胞分裂时不分离或三体发育过程中丢失一个染色体。患儿发育迟滞，头小，脸扁平，鼻短，耳小，舌大而厚且经常外伸，肢体短小，第五指短且向内弯，睑裂向外上倾斜，二眼间距较宽，常有内眦赘皮，虹膜发育不全，智力低下，先天性心脏畸形，肝脏脂肪变性等。治疗为控制反复发作的呼吸道感染和治疗先天性心脏病。本征患者50％死于1岁以内，存活者平均寿命30岁左右，女性可以生育，男性不育。
