【性状】
本品长可达60cm,黄绿色或黄白色,较光滑。茎有纵棱,直径约0.2cm, 多有分枝或须根,节稍膨大,节间长3~9cm;质柔软,断面中心有髓。叶互生,多皱缩、 破碎,完整叶片展平后呈卵状披针形或披针形,长3~9cm,宽1~2.5cm;先端尖,全缘, 基部下延成膜质叶鞘,抱茎,叶脉平行。花多脱落,总苞佛焰苞状,心形,两边不相连; 花瓣皱缩,蓝色。气微,味淡。
【鉴别】
本品叶的表面观:非腺毛有两种,均为2 细胞,一种短锥形,长45~60 μm ,壁较厚,基部细胞直径约45μm ,顶端细胞短尖;另一种棒形,基部细胞长45~ 60μm ,壁稍厚,顶端细胞较长,先端钝圆,壁薄,常脱落。草酸钙针晶较多,长至74 μm 。
【炮制】
除去杂质,洗净,切段,晒干。
【性味与归经】
甘、淡,寒。归肺、胃、小肠经。
【功能与主治】
清热解毒,利水消肿。用于风热感冒,高热不退,咽喉肿痛,水 肿尿少,热淋涩痛,痈肿疔毒。
【用法与用量】
15~30g;鲜品60~90g 。外用适量。
【贮藏】
置通风干燥处,防霉。
