【来源】
为樟科植物钝叶樟的茎皮。
【植物形态】
钝叶樟 常绿乔木，高达15米，树皮褐色，有香味。枝常对生，近于四棱形，有短柔毛，但毛不久即脱落。叶较大，近对生，硬革质，椭圆状长椭圆形至卵状长椭圆形，长10～22厘米，宽4～6厘米，先瑞圆或渐狭，基部宽楔形，全缘，上面榄绿色，下面淡绿色，光亮无毛，3出脉，其间有横向平行细脉；叶柄粗壮，带褐色，长1.2～2厘米。花黄色；圆锥花序大，近顶生，短于或与叶等长。果小，椭圆形或长椭圆形，长约1厘米，顶端圆而有细尖；果托浅杯状，包着果的基部，边缘有圆齿6枚。花期春季。果期4～5月。 生于山坡密林中或沟边。分布广东、广西、云南等地。

秋季采收。

【功用主治】
①广州部队《常用中草药手册》："祛风散寒，行气止痛。治胃寒疼痛，虚寒泄泻，风湿骨痛，腰肌劳损，肾虚阳痿，经闭，蛇咬伤。" ②《云南中草药选》："消肿，止血，接骨。治外伤出血，骨折。"
【用法与用量】
内服：研末，3～5分。外用：研末撒或调敷。
