腰果 Anacardium occidentale;cashew nut 漆树科腰果属常绿乔木。又称槚如果。热带果树。原产西印度群岛和巴西东北部,后传至印度和东南亚,又传至非洲。热带各国多有栽种,以莫桑比克、印度、坦桑尼亚和肯尼亚产量最多。1943年引入中国今海南省三亚市 ,50年代后云南和广东西部也有种植。树高8~12米,树冠开张,冠幅约8米左右。单叶互生、革质,长卵或倒卵形,长10~20厘米。圆锥花序顶生,花小,黄粉红色,杂性。坚果,肾形,硬壳棕灰色,果仁白色。性喜高温,对低温敏感。对土壤适应性强。主要用种子繁殖,优良品种可用高空压条或嫁接繁殖。腰果果仁含脂肪45%,蛋白质20%。可炒食。果壳可榨油作高级油漆,也可作绝缘材料。未成熟果壳含毒质,对皮肤有刺激作用。茎的乳汁可作粘胶剂。肉质花托可鲜食或榨汁作饮料,味酸中带甜,有利尿、治水肿功效。
