In the light of the disadvantages in operation of the conventional water seal, the water seal was researched.

Aiming at the existing problems of poor sealing effect and service and maintenance of an amphibious tank′s turret ring,this paper adopts a particular technique scheme which takes the solution combining active sealing and passive fast clearout and conducts specific design and true-vehicle tank experiment for this solution,which validates the feasibility and validity of this scheme.
