拜城克孜尔千佛洞新1号窟壁画 一九七三年发现。位于克孜尔千佛洞谷西区的中部。为中心柱窟，前室窟顶坍坏，左右两壁与顶部的壁画已不存。东甬道顶、甬道口及西甬道两壁尚残存一部分壁画。后室西壁满绘天雨花、喜珠、宝幡、三宝标、金刚杵等。窟顶画3个飞天，用晕染法。飞天上部东画太阳，西画满月，月中有一白兔。后室后壁残存有四个举哀天王像，站在涅槃佛的身后，表现出惊惶恐怖、极度悲哀的神态。中心柱后壁仅残存一宫殿式建筑的部分图像与两个残像，东侧壁全毁，西侧壁下部尚可见两个宝座及座旁几个供养人像。东甬道顶满绘图案装饰，东侧壁入口处残存一立佛脚下画一龟兹供养人。此窟开凿年代约为5—6世纪之间。
