学习障碍(learning disabilities)由各种原因引起的学习困难。与儿童的智力发育、遗传因素、脑器质性缺陷、躯体疾病、精神因素以及环境因素等有关。有些儿童智力在正常范围,而且感觉器官、运动能力及情绪方面均无障碍,主要因阅读、书写、拼读或计算方面的缺陷而产生学习障碍。本症也常见于注意缺陷障碍和发育迟缓的儿童,亦可见于儿童焦虑症、学校恐怖症等。躯体疾病(如结核、风湿、哮喘病)所引起的衰弱状态,因容易疲劳,也会影响学习。儿童学习障碍,与其家庭的环境和教育方式以及本身对学习态度均有一定关系。父母的溺爱及放纵,常助长儿童适应学校困难,逃避学习或出现其他行为问题。学习障碍问题关系儿童的成长和前途,需要家庭、学校、医院三方面相结合,针对发生的原因和具体情况采取医疗和教育训练,提高他们学习的能力。 (江开达撰徐俊觅审)
