天坛是我国珍贵的世界文化遗产,是中国现存规模最大、形制最完美的古代祭天建筑群,从永乐十八年始建至今,已经有580多年的历史;其中作为皇家祭天坛庙,有500年历史,1918年作为公园开放,至今又有80余年。

天坛座 南天星座之一。夏天的夜晚，先在南方天空找到天蝎座，再从天蝎座的尾钩向南，便可找到它。天坛座在我国只有南方地区才能看到，它的开头是一个不规则的“H”形，在“H”的东边上有两颗星靠得很近，这是它的主要标志。银河主从人马座、天蝎座流经天坛座，然后向南奔向南三角座和半人马座。
天坛座被描绘成一个祭坛，坛上点着圣火。传说这个祭坛是奥林匹斯诸神为了纪念战胜提坦巨人而建造的。但是，我们是在北半球，所以看起来这个祭坛是底朝上，圣火向下；如果我们到南半球去看时，那就圣火向上腾起了。
