萜烯树脂是由萜烯混合物聚合而成,结构式为分子式(C10H16)n,分子量650-1250,淡黄色粘稠液体或透明脆性固体。相对密度0.96-1.0,软化点80-130℃,玻璃化温度73-94℃。易溶于苯、甲苯、松节油、脂肪烃,不溶于水、甲醇、乙醇、丙酮、醋酸乙酯。稳定性好,遇光和热不变色。耐酸、耐碱。低温性、耐候性亦佳。可燃,无毒。
用作溶剂型压敏胶粘剂、纸塑复膜胶粘剂、SBS溶剂型胶粘剂、接枝氯丁胶粘剂、热熔胶等的增粘树脂。贮存于阴凉、通风、干燥的库房内.远离火种、热源。
