Based on the observed data about current,wave and chemistry in Lake Taihu,calculations of wave stress and current stress were conducted with a conclusion that sediment resuspension mainly results from disturbance caused by wind forcing.

Numerical experiments on the influences of inlet and outlet flow on lake current was conducted by means of the 3-D hydrodynamic sub-model of EcoTaihu Model on a man-made Lake Zhuhu.

长滩湖与朝阳湖1公里之隔，气势宏伟的长滩湖，湖面3360亩，水深30余米，湖区4大支流、3岛、27湾、湖周百余座山峰错落有致，湖上碧波浩渺、两岸清峰叠翠，波光粼粼、倒影悠悠，形成道道绿色画廊，一幅幅淡雅天然的现卷。湖区有“金龟岛”、“碧霞湾”、“卧虎岭”、“金钟山”、“玉屏山”、“红岩寨”等景点。每个景点都伴有动人的传说，给人以无限的遐想。湖区的“衬腰岩”为山溪古道遗迹。该道上通名山、雅安，下至新津、彭山，尚存登崖石梯长达2.5公里
