补充资料：长白湖
长白瀑布以下三公里河谷西侧，有两个圆形水池，称小天池，又名长白湖、银环湖、东湖。二池一南一北相隔200米左右。北侧一个隐在幽静的岳桦林中，海拔1780米，湖面呈圆形，面积5380平方米，水深10余米，湖水碧绿。南侧还有一圆形池与前者大小相差无几，只是积水甚浅，仅几米深，有时干涸，露出黄色泥土。登高俯视，一个碧蓝，一个赤黄，好似一对金银杯，所以人们又称小天池为对杯湖，别具景色。
小天池水面如镜，宛若绿海中的美玉。湖水终年不枯，碧蓝平静，周围岳桦林密，百草丛生，峰峦倒映，恬静幽雅，景色壮观。近年来，游人日渐增多。曲径通幽，山光水色，群松与岳桦环抱，实在是个浏览的好去处。
