在浙江台州市桃渚城东南约1.5公里许。北麓石柱岩，又称天柱岩，拔地而起，称“桃渚第一峰”。稍东岩柱孤峭直上，其顶巨石酷肖海螺，螺纹历历，称海螺岩。附近一石居危崖之上，酷假巨蛙，奋力向上，小石蛙尾随，似母子相乐，称蛤蟆岩。石柱岩西侧有玉壶岩，前有壶嘴，后有壶柄，壶身圆直，高置山坡之上。其下桃渚港，大小十三悬渚散落布置，水陆相嵌。石柱山西，山脊岩体壁立，蜿蜒数里，称蟠龙岗。岗上天然石堑两处，称龙斩腰。又有穿山圆洞，恰恰相反似满月含山，称漏月洞。附近华盖峰，俗名雨伞岩，顶上奇石丛级，其旁一岩如披青罗，华盖宛然。石柱山南侧岗下明霞洞，高10米，宽20余米，长约40米，南北通透，实为巨大石梁横跨山岗，又名穿岩洞。洞壁多蚌蛤等化石。左连小洞，洞壁空穴连环，小巧奇特。
