| 云雀 Alauda；skylards 雀形目百灵科云雀属鸟类的通称。体长150～180毫米；翅短；外侧2对尾羽白色。共有2种，中国均有分布。上体呈纵纹状，受惊扰时，头上羽冠竖立。栖息于高山草原、荒坡、近水草滩。奔走寻食，遇惊则蹲伏隐蔽，也常立于土块、石头上张望。常飞至40～50米高处，频频鼓翅，盘旋上升，且飞且鸣。降落时收翅敛体，接近地面才展翅滑翔，轻轻落到地上。鸣声较复杂，多音律。主要取食作物和草籽，也吃小蜗牛和昆虫等。巢以草茎、草根、枯叶等缀集而成，置于地面凹陷处。每窝产卵3～5枚。卵白或灰色，杂以褐或灰色斑。云雀繁殖于中国东北，到青海以东直至广州一带越冬。小云雀分布于青海、甘肃、及黄河上游与淮河以南各省。除西北亚种具迁徙习性外，其余5个亚种均为留鸟。可作笼鸟饲养。 |
