从达里诺尔湖西行16公里，便到了多伦诺尔湖。多伦诺尔湖总面积2.2平方公里，湖内多涌泉，水质优良，以盛产鲤鱼而闻名。相传，原来多伦诺尔湖内并没有鲤鱼，康熙皇帝在达里诺尔湖钓过鱼后，来到多伦诺尔湖，见湖中无鱼，偌大水面，白白空余，便叫人用骆驼从黄河驮来数十尾鲤鱼，放养湖中。至今人们仍把多伦诺尔称鲤鱼泡子。当年用牛皮口袋驮来的数十尾鲤鱼的后代不断繁衍，成为这里的人们取之不尽，用之不竭的财富。
