联合国世界气象组织(WMO,UN)下设的专业技术委员会之一。成立于1953年。前身为国际气象组织农业气象委员会。其宗旨主要是促进农业气象站网的建设和农业气象观测的标准化，开展农业气象情报、农业气象科学研究及其成果应用和人员培训等方面的国际合作，加强不同国家间农业气象工作的交流和合作。CAgM还向 WMO提供农业气象咨询和建议，并与其他有关国际组织保持联系和协作。委员会届会一般 4年一次。第九次届会于1986年11月在西班牙马德里召开，突尼斯人卡萨当选委员会主席。中国代表团参加了第七、第八和第九届届会。
