Accompanied with the historical evolution of technological(innovation,) the household,private and big-size handicraft workshops came out and became the subject of innovation successively,based on craftsmen s innovative activities,thus getting rid of the limitation of complete handiwork to a certain extent.

This paper,through comparing the family scale between craftsmen and farmers,shows that the type of craftsmen s family is relatively complex,and can be divided roughly into 5 types,which is due to preventing their skills from leakage and different types of work in production.
