粗锡精炼过程中降温凝析加锯木屑除砷、铁时形成的浮渣。炭渣呈灰黑色，含锡60～70％，砷4～15％,铁1～10％和少量的铅、铜、锑等。为防止砷在冶炼过程中循环积累，通常先将炭渣焙烧脱砷，再返回熔炼。如采用真空蒸馏法处理炭渣，砷和铅的挥发率均可达95％以上。
