季雨，原名侍继余，江苏睢宁人。中共党员。1957年毕业于南京两浦铁路中学。历任上海铁路局蚌埠车站制动员，解放军战士、文书，上海铁路局蚌埠铁路分局货运员、调度员、宣传干事，安徽蚌埠市文化局创作室专业作家，安徽省文联编辑，文学创作二级。1957年开始发表作品。1991年加入中国作家协会。
