Using transient electromagnetic method, the authors searched for caves, structural shatter zones and faulted zones from the surface to a depth of 100m at the site of principal shaft in a certain deposit of Huangshi City and, on the basis of the data obtained, discussed the genesis of the caves.

白石崖溶岩洞
该洞位于白石崖半山上，达力加峡口处。此处有溶洞数孔，而以左侧的溶洞最为著名，为安木多地区佛教一名胜。
据调查，该洞深十公里，传说与青海循化某地相通，洞身深邃崎岖，曲径幽深，须持火把攀援古梯登高，腰系绳索下行，暗河哗哗，流水叮咚，因为洞内地形复杂、洞体曲折光滑、缺氧、游客多不敢贸然深探，且不便多带火把，故多半途而归。附近还发现了珍贵的三趾马化石以及二亿年前生长在海洋中的蚌类钻锤虫、珊瑚等海生动物化石这证明白石崖地区曾经是浅海地带。
