为十字花科植物水田碎米荠的全草。
【植物形态】
水田碎米荠 多年生草本。茎直立，有棱角，高30～60厘米，基部有柔长的匍匐茎。匍匐茎下部的叶为3小叶，顶叶最大，在中部以上的为单叶，叶片广卵形、圆形，基部心脏形，边缘浅波状；直立茎上的叶为羽状复叶，顶端的小叶最大。总状花序顶生；花白色。长角果条形，扁平，微弯，先端具有宿存的花柱。种子1行，矩圆形，褐色，有宽翅。 生于水田湿地。分布东北。华北、华东、中南、西南等地。
【采集】
夏季采收。
【性味】
《贵州草药》："性平，味甘微辛。"
【功用主治】
清热凉血，明目，调经。治痢疾，吐血，目赤痛，月经不调。 ①《贵州草药》："清热解毒，去翳。" ②《广西植物名录》："治月经不调。"
【选方】
①治痢疾或吐血：水田碎米荠一两，煨水服。(《贵州草药》) ②治翳子：水田碎米荠捣绒塞鼻，右眼痛塞左鼻孔，左眼痛塞右鼻孔。(《贵州草药》)
