性质:又称初级消光。在晶体理想性或完整性甚高的场合,入射X射线作用于晶体后,其衍射线因遭遇原子(格)面会产生二次及多次反射。由于二次或多次反射的方向与原射线平行但位相不同从而导致衍射强度显著削弱,出现积分强度偏离正比于结构因子模值二次方的情况。这种并非起源于原子吸收的使衍射积分强度衰减的效应称作原消光。如方解石的单晶即有甚强的原消光效应。对于高理想的晶样进行液体空气淬冷等处理可使之转化为镶嵌化的晶体以削弱其原消光作用。
