性质:又称醛糖二糖酸;双己糖醛酸。为醛糖酸(aldonic acid)和葡萄糖各1分子结合的化合物。经水解变成醛糖酸。如在水解前,先行甲基化,以固定水解产物的位置,就能得知原来的二糖类中的糖苷结合的位置。以麦芽糖为例,由将其甲基化后生成的四甲基葡糖酸,可知其麦芽糖酸是2,3,5,6-四甲基衍生物,故能推断出原来糖苷的结合是在4位碳原子上。还原性二糖类经溴氧化即得。例如麦芽糖经溴氧化即制成麦芽糖酸。用作生化试剂。
