The interaction of the dock chamber wall and foundation soil is considered using the finite element software MSC Marc, considering the foundation soil as continuous elastic and plastic ideal matter which is subjected to the Mohr-Coulomb rule and the friction between foundation soil and dock chamber wall belongs to the Coulomb friction.
