性质:又称四溴苯酚四溴磺酞。奶色结晶体(由醋酸重结晶)。易溶于醇,难溶于水。在浓盐酸中呈淡黄色,在浓硫酸中呈浅紫色。将4,5,6,7-四溴苯酚磺酞在冰醋酸中与溴反应制取。用作酸碱指示剂、变色域由pH3~4.6为黄~蓝。
