水源洞为凌云之冠，是中国十大溶洞之一，洞内有泉涌出，汇入澄碧河，流入珠江，为珠江之源头，故名水源洞。水源洞分第一洞天问心庙和内洞探奇二部分。
第一洞天最宽处为31米，最高处为20.8米。占地约2万2千平方米，泉水清澈透明，涛奔雷怒，气势磅礴，洞口崖壁上有近百幅历代名人骚客留下的石刻，问心庙以天然大厅为佛殿，始建于康熙年间，历史悠久，香火旺盛。
水源洞的内洞全长1500米，由天地灵气孕育，自然造化而成，其间地下河碧水长流，岩花层叠，钟乳石奇光异彩，鬼斧神工幻化的各种景观，千姿百态，惟妙惟肖。“泰山归来不看山，凌云归来不看洞”水源洞一定会使你流连忘返。素有“第一洞天”之美称的水源洞风景区坐落在凌云县境内，位于距县城一公里的百花山庄内，风景区绿树成荫，景色怡人。
