1、遵守铸造设备通用操作规程。
2、工作前还必须遵守：
a、
检查设备上行程开关和碰块的位置是否正确，如不正确，必须调整。
b、
接通电源，打开压缩空气伐门，先用手动方法，对各机构逐进行点动试车，然后用自动方法，进行一个循环试车，确认一切正常后，方可进行生产。
3、工作中还必须遵守：
a、
在设备开动后，一个循环未完成时，不许中途调整电器，以免发生误动作，造成设备人身事故；
b、
设备的每一个循环后，必须用喷咀清除芯盒上残存的砂子，并喷涂分型剂；
c、
在未切断电源和所气源前，不准将手伸入芯盒和夹紧器之间的空隙处，或把手放在导轨上，以免发生人身事故。
d、 一般不准空射，如必须空射，一定要把压缩空气伐门关小；
e、 如果用手操作，不准同时操作两个电器开关。
4、工作后还必须遵守：
a、
操纵各个电器开关，使设备各机构恢复到原始位置，然后切断电源和气源；
b、 折下射砂头，清理积砂和粘砂；
c、 清除排气塞内的粘砂；
d、
取下射砂筒，清除缝隙中的粘砂，最后用石蜡涂擦内壁，但不要将缝隙堵塞；
e、 清除闸板上的积砂，并在闸板上涂石墨粉，以减少磨擦；
f、 清除导轨和导杆上的积灰和积砂，并涂上一层润滑油。
