Based on the Washburn equation,using height method and pressure method to measure the contact angle of the filter material,introducing the concept of hydrophobic-hydrophilic ratio(RLH),the hydrophobic-hydrophilic ratios of walnut shell and quartz sand at 25 ℃ was obtained with n-octanol and deionized water as the reference liquid.
