马山楚墓出土刺绣 战国中晚期刺绣珍品。1982年湖北马山一号楚墓出土，计21件。有绣衾、绣衣、绣袍、绣裤和夹袱等。绣料（地）以绢为主，只一件为罗绣地。一般在绣地上用墨或朱砂绘出图案，然后进行刺绣。针法为锁绣。有的满绣，亦有稀绣。绣技熟练。纹样以凤鸟和龙为主题，以枝蔓、草叶、花卉和几何纹作辅助。构图奇特生动，充满神话色彩。花纹单位较大，为二方、四方连续构成。色泽华美，配色谐和。绣线颜色有棕、红棕、深棕、深红、朱红、桔红、浅黄，金黄、土黄、黄绿、钴蓝等12种色。绣线为双股合成，投影宽度在0．15毫米—0．4毫米之间，以0．15毫米—0．25毫米的为多。
