保险单据的作用
【保险单据的作用】在国际贸易中，由于要经过长距离的运输，货物有可能遇到各种意外而发生灭失或损坏，并且货物在装卸、储仓时也会发生损坏。所以，为了使货物在受损后能得到一定的补偿，买方或卖方应在货物出运前向保险公司投保，而保险单据是由保险人出具给被保险人，是保险人与被保险人之间保险合同的书面证明。保险单据上列有保险合同的全部内容，是双方权利、义务的依据。如果货物在运输过程中发生了损失，被保险人可凭保险单据向保险人索赔。保险单据可以凭被保险人的背书而转让，如货物遭到灭失或损坏，被转让人凭保险单据有权向保险人要求索赔。
