Fifty-one cases of lumbar intervertebral disk hernia (LIDH) were randomly divided into the experimental group (n=35 cases) and the control group (n=16 cases), which were treated under X-ray guidance and local anaethesia by percutaneous puncture discectomy (PPD) and prying with needle (PN) and by routine PPD alone, respectively.

［二、内障］，谓此饿鬼，咽或如针，口或如炬，其腹宽大。由此因缘，纵得饮食，不能啖饮。如是等鬼，由内障碍饮食，是名内障。
［三、无障］，谓有饿鬼，名猛焰鬘，虽于饮食无有障碍，然随所饮啖之物，皆被烧然，变成火炭；由此因缘，饥渴大苦，是名无障。
