本品为硝基咪唑衍生物，对滴虫、阿米巴原虫和鞭毛虫均有作用。
【作用与用途】
治疗阿米巴病，2g/日，顿服，连服2～3日。治疗阴道滴虫和梨形鞭毛虫病，150mg/次，2次/日，7日为1疗程。不良反应少，剂量大时，有胃肠道不适、头痛、背痛及瘙痒等症状。
