性质:又称1,3-二氯-5,5-二甲基海因,二氯海因。白色结晶或结晶粉末,具有类似漂白粉气味。熔点132~136℃。相对密度(20/20℃)1.5。加热至212℃变为棕色且迅速燃烧。稍溶于水,溶于氯仿、乙醇、苯等大部分有机溶剂,还可溶于浓硫酸。当pH值大于9时迅速水解。干燥贮存稳定。由5,5-二甲基海因在碱性物质存在下氯化制得。用作有机合成中间体,是氯(亚)胺型消毒杀菌剂和漂白剂,在工业水处理中用作杀菌灭藻剂。
